Macadamia maple biscuit slab

Step 1

Preheat oven to 170C or 150C fan-forced.

Step 2

Using a food processor, process 1 cup macadamia until finely chopped. Add flours and process until combined. Add butter and process until a breadcrumb texture. Add maple syrup and process until dough forms a ball.

Step 3

Turn out dough onto a lightly floured benchtop. Knead into a ball. Place on a large sheet of baking paper. Cover with a sheet of baking paper. Roll out until 1cm thick. Cut remaining macadamias in half. Scatter over dough with cranberries. Press lightly into dough. Lift paper and dough onto a large baking tray. Bake for 30 minutes or until light golden. Cool on tray.

Step 4

To serve, slide onto a chopping board and invite guests to break off pieces of biscuit.
